catalytic converter followup

I believe that cats are federally mandated to be warranted to 100,000 miles
as the are most definatly emissions control equipment.  I'll check with the
guy at my shop who is certified for emissions and I will get back to you
with the exact legal wording.  The cat may even be covered by the original
manufacturers warranty (again, I have to check on the limits) I'll be in
touch tommorrow with, more helpful advice.
