I could use the same advice, because I have a similar problem (in my '87
325iC). In my case, I've noticed an additional rather odd possible
coincidence: it shows the same symptoms after the car has been parked for
a shorter time on an incline (as in an upward sloping parking garage, for
a day).
I immediately assumed it was somewhere along the fuel line, so replaced
the fuel filter and tested the fuel pump - no problems found, and the
problem occasionally still happens.
Any one?
Drew
