I would suggest also trying a junkyard.  A guy at work with
an E28 just found a pair of TRX wheels/tires in good shape
at a local yard.  They didn't cost him much...


Just an FYI regarding TRX tires...

Word is that Michelin has discontinued the TRX tires, which
is why you can no longer get them at places like Tire Rack.

They supposedly sold their production tooling to Coker Tire.

Whether or not this is true, the Coker web site does list
them.  Unfortunately, the correct sizes are out of stock,
now...

Do the keyword search and search on "TRX"

Of course, even if they had them, they aren't cheap.  The
sizes they have are all ~$180 ea.  For that kind of money
for 15 year old technology, you can see why most E28 owners
convert to 15" or 16".
