Loose Seat in 96' 328i

Hello all:

I have been experiencing a shift of my seat during hard cornering.  As the
cars nears the apex and the G's are built up the seat seems to shift about a
1/8" in the track.  This is really annoying!

The car is a 96' 328i sport with the sport seat option.

Any Idea where to start troubleshooting this?  I hear removing the seats is
not a good idea with out some experienced help on hand.
