Extended Warranties

Before you buy one, be sure you read it carefully, not just the general 
description, but all of the terms.  You must comply with the terms.  Also 
note the exclusions and the procedures you need to follow.  Also be aware 
that many repair facilities do not like to work in cooperation with the terms 
of an extended warranty contract.  If they do not follow the required 
procedures, the warranty administrator will not pay for the repair.  Also 
note that the warranty administrator will frequently send out an inspector 
before authorizing a repair.  Modifications to a vehicle will often void the 
warranty coverage.  The terms of the contract govern.
