Best method to run wire from trunk to head unit?

Let me tell you what works best on the E36s....and its not going the door
sill route!  Its a whole lot easier to run the wires from the headunit down
behind the sunglass holder, and out the bottom of the front center console
down near where you right foot is...Then, run it parallel to the center
console bottom, and just push it up behind the plastic.  No need to remove
the console....Then, when you get back to the rear ash tray in the rear of
the console, make a hole in the carpet thats covered up by the ash tray
fixture....And snake the wires down  into teh hole and try and push as far
as possible...Then, remove the back seat, and reach up under the rear carpet
to grap the wires....pull them under the rear seat and snake them behind the
rear seat side baffle into the trunk...
