No Acceleration!

This problem has been occurring recently and intermittently.

The engine will start normally and idle correctly, but as you push on the accelerator
nothing happens. The engine wants to die out! It seems as if there is no gasoline (or
air) getting into the engine.

As this happens from time to time I am baffled.

Would someone have any idea as to what the problem could be?  Fuel pump? Injectors?
Fuel Filter? All these parts were change 30000kms (19000miles) ago.
