Door Lock Rebuild Kit ?s

Hi,

I bought a driver's side door lock rebuild kit for my daughter's '88 325iS
from Steve G. and the instructions are in German. The other problem is that
I can't get my medium size hand inside the door cavity to even remove the
old door lock mount entirely. The cylinder comes out freely when the key is
inserted, but the main part of the lock mechanism stays put. Is this a
dealer job or has anyone done the rebuild themselves?
