330Ci Oil Light

I have a 2001 330Ci with just over 6,000 miles on it, and several 
times recently, I have switched off the engine and had the oil light 
to the right of the highbeam indicator come on and stay on. I see 
that when I start the engine it blinks red, so apparently it can show 
different colors, in this case it is definitely yellow. It freaked me 
out the first time, and so I restarted the car, and shut it off and 
there was no light. I have found that when it happens I can turn the 
key to the accessory position and back and it'll shut off too. It 
doesn't happen all the time, maybe once every 6-10 times I shut the 
car off. Is this something I should be worried about? I'll probably 
mention it to the dealer next time I'm in, but if it's something to 
be worried about I'll try to make that day sooner than it may be 
otherwise. It's been really cold here lately, not above freezing in 
weeks, often around 12 degrees, I don't know if that could cause 
problems with some sensor or anything.
