I'm about to bite the bullet and replace the batteries on the SI
Board of my 89 325.
...Not because the lights don't come on...but because they are ALWAYS
on, and seem to draining the car battery dead. After a number of
days of non-use, the car battery is dead. Really fun at the airport
parking lots.
Either:
1) The leds are drawing enough current to drain a good battery
2) Another SI board component is creating a drain.
3) Another non-SI Board related component is creating a drain.
4) The car battery is trashed, and anything will kill it.
Perhaps it is time to replace.
Any experience with battery drain from failed SI board?
Thanks
Jonathan Schwartz
