Hey all....
Quick question for some of you E-30 pros:
Upon initial 'take-off' I am hearing a slight metallic winding noise that
seems to be originating from the transmission/driveshaft area of my '88 325.
It typically subsides after I reach a speed over 10 miles per hour.
The 325 has an automatic 4 speed, and I serviced the transmission 2 months
ago: new filter, and Red Line oil.
I'm thinking it's the drive shaft or u-joints of some kind? Any thoughts,
comments, suggestions or questions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
