Vredestein Tires

Anyone try Vredestein snow tires?  I hear good things about them but I'd
like to know from experience if they are good on dry pavement as well as
snow.  Pricing is reasonable and you can even order online direct from the
Canadian distributor.

I'm thinking about getting them for my '89 325iX.
