Sounds like it might just be the friction material wearing out (i.e. time for a rebuild). Has the tranny fluid & filter been changed??? With that many miles, you should have changed it twice already if you wanted it to live. The tranny ECU's for these things increase pressure on the bands/clutches
with an increase in throttle application. That may be why it helps stop the slipping with a bit more throttle. It could also be a pressure problem; clogged filter, bad pump, regulator, etc. Good luck.
