Speaking of the cost of ownership of cars (as opposed as to the price), a
couple of months ago I was considering buying a Lincoln LS as a daily driver.
However, the expected resale value of an LS five speed after 2 years is less
than 50%. Yow !!! For an automatic is is 55%. This would make an LS
substantially more expensive to own than a 540i. No deal.
