Kleen Wheels on a 95 740i? revisiting the topic...

Ok, so I go to get my oil changed and some other nagging E38 problems fixed
on my car today, and the subject of my dirty wheels comes up again. I ask
Lothar at Excluservice about using Porterfield brake pads, as someone on the
digest told me they are much less dusty than the stock pads. He says they
won't buy em, they won't put them on, they don't recommend em, and that I
should just get Kleen wheels at $46 a pair ($92 for all 4) + $26 in labor to
put on, and call it a day. He said they do not cause rotor warpage, and
that all his cars have them. He said the only ones that caused the rotor
warpage were the old ones from many years ago, but the new ones don't have
that problem. I looked at them in the Kleen Wheels catalogue and they are
black (of course) and slotted. I have a 95 740i with the new Star Spoke 70
wheels (they look just like the sport package E46 3 series 7 spoke wheels)
so there is a lot of space under the spokes where you can see the rotor.
Would these still be aethestically pleasing with the black Kleen Wheel
underneath, as opposed to keeping my stock dusty pad set up and seeing the
silver colored rotors underneath? I've just about had it with the dust - I
clean my car and 2 days later of city driving and they are all dusty again!
Are Kleen Wheels all they are cracked up to be? Would a black looking Kleen
Wheel under the spokes of the wheels look cheesy or weird or unsightly? He
didn't have any cars on the premise that had the Kleen Wheels on them, so I
could take a look at them. Any E38 owners out there packing any Kleen
Wheels?

Thanks,
Steve Robinson
