Keep bleeding, with the engine running. Shut it off and add coolant when
it cools down enough to open the cap. Repeat this process over and over.
Make sure the heater temp controls are on hot.  In addition to the
thermostat area bleed screw, you "may" have a bleed in one of the heater
hoses, drivers side near the firewall in the engine compartment. Some of
the replacement hoses have them installed to help alleviate this
problem. It is a metal "T" insert in the hose. When these engines get an
air pocket, sometimes it is a lengthy process to get all the air out. A
couple months ago, I spent the better part of a day doing the same
thing.
