BlankFellow digesters, I have a '91 535i, two months ago I replaced the =
head gasket, water pump hoses and thermostat. At that time I flushed the =
cooling system and replaced the antifreeze, I did not bleed the system =
of air and the temp gauge stayed straight up when warm. The other day I =
noticed some rust in the overflow reservoir so I flushed the system =
again using a flush agent.Again I didn't bleed the system. I drove it =
about 1 mile and the temp gauge kept climbing to the red. I drove the =
car back home after refilling radiator. Following the Bently's manual I =
removed the bleed screw and filled coolant until it came out the screw =
hole. Replaced the cap and when it reached operating temperature I again =
loosened bleed screw until I thought no more air was coming out. It =
continues to overheat, I also have no interior heat. I have repeated the =
bleeding three times. Am I not getting all the air out or what? Please =
help! Thanks, John=20
