E36 heated seat repair

Has anyone out there with an E36 ever taken apart their front seats to
replace the heater pads? My 93 318is has cloth, manual seats. I had very
good luck replacing the heater element in the butt cushion part, but am
stumped as how to take apart the seat back (upright portion). Would love
to hear from someone who has done this.
