The CS1000 scan tool is designed to read and reset fault codes found on
BMW, MERCEDES, VW/AUDI and VOLVO automobiles using special upgradable
ROM modules.
The CS1000 is easy to operate making it simple for even a apprentice
technician to pull codes.

Simply plug the appropriate adapter into the car's diagnostic connector
and insert the ROM module. Turn the ignition to the run position, press
the system key for the system you wish to test and press the read
button. The unit reads the codes and displays them one at a time on the
large LED display. Resetting the codes is just the push of a button.

Priced lower than any comparable diagnostic tool, the CS1000's open
ended architecture makes it the most economical tool available to the
independent technician of European automobiles. Since only the ROM needs
replacement, future updating costs are low.
