Anybody here supercharge/turbocharge a 528i?

Greetings all.

I'd like to hear from anyone who's gone through the trouble of introducing
forced induction to their 328/528 motor.  I'm looking at picking up a
'97-'99 528i/5-speed.  Frankly, I like the smoothness and nimbleness of the
528 over the 540 (plus the $15K price jump is something to consider) but
just want a little bit more than stock.  A Jim C. chip would be first choice
(simple, effective) but there's nothing quite like a blower to make things
interesting.

So if anyone had undertaken such an endevour, I'd like to hear from you -
good or bad.
