If you go to a professional installer, what they will usually do is run the
Head Unit's amp at about 5 -7 watts, to power the stock amp via the speaker
outputs. That way, no extra wiring is required, and you can continue to use
the stock crossovers. Unless you have a compelling not to do it this way,
this is the preferred method.
