Hi Darrell,

My name is Steve Diamond and my company sells the genuine BMW CD changer (yes 
they are new) for $375.  The BMW part number is 82-11-1-469-404.  Most cars 
including the your sons Z3 require an installtion kit (or bracket), which in 
most cases is best purchased from your local dealer.

I stock the cd changers and E39 installation kits and E46 brackets for cars 
with the navigation system.
