Fwd: Wanted 96 Z3 CD-Changer

If you don't find a BMW changer (though I'm sure they're available
from any number of dealers online) a company called "SoundGate" makes
adapters that adapt BMW stereos to after market CD changers. I
haven't used them, but saw them while looking for steering wheel
interfaces for my new stereo.

Also, a side note here. While having a new stereo installed in my
330Ci, I found that the BMW factory CD player and amp is OEM'd by
Alpine! This is widely considered an excellent brand, in fact my new
stereo is an Alpine head unit and changer, but with different
features obviously. My installer got a prototype of a stereo dash
adapter for the '99 3 series and up from some company, I'll see how
it turns out. So far the biggest problem is the dash is at an angle
and the stereo is naturally vertical, but the model I chose has a
tilt function which should solve that problem nicely.

I'll provide photos when it's all done.
