Visit the local CCA chapter's discussion forum website's links collection at
http://www.egroups.com/links/rmc-bmwcca and click on "shops" for a list of
independent shops in the area.  Most advertise in the chapter newsletter.  I
was plenty satisfied at BMP Autohaus but my old car didn't get much personal
attention at Bavarian Machines/Stewart's Ferrari.  Bimmer Werks in
Broomfield has an excellent reputation but it's a bit out of the way for me.
