Brake Job

I am looking to take on the job of putting new rotors and pads on all four 
corners.  I have done brakes before on my VW jetta and Mazda.  I was 
wondering if there was anything special I needed to know or be aware of?  
Est. time of job, etc.....

Any help and info.  would be greatly appreciated!!
