Hi All!
This weekend I finally solved the idle surge problem that my car have been
suffering from during the last year or so!
Actually I didn't solve it my self, but a mechanic I was recomended. The
culprit was the trottle position sensor (potentiometer), which was
misadjusted! He just loosened the two screws and made a little adjustment -
and then all where OK again! It seem as if the potentiometer isn't adjusted
proporly, the DME don't "know" that the trottle is intirely released, and
don't invoke the idle program.
Now, when I release the trottle the revs first drop to about 1000-1100 rpm,
and after a second or two, it drops to about 800 rpm.
