E-23 fuel pumps

Have 87 e23 with engine intermittently cutting out at high speed; car slows
to 20 mph / 1500 RPM but does not actually quit. After several minutes will
run fine. Pumping the accelerator causes some improvement. Happens every few
days.

Suspect one or both fuel pumps. The one outside the tank was changed at 60k
miles, now have 130k miles. Wonder if this could be a venting problem.
Recently changed air and fuel filter, rotor, distributor cap and plugs as a
correction. Ran a tank with Techron.
