Stability Control System and Partial Power Loss

Posted a message a few days ago, regarding a partial power loss
coincident with the stability control system locking on (on dry asphalt)
and the engine trouble icon and EML lamps coming on. Happened again.
This time was able to get BMW to look at it while it was happening. They
found that the electronic throttle was malfunctioning, and replaced the
mechanism. Have driven 60 miles since, so far, so good. Will advise if
problem is permanently banished.
