525 gray interior??

I have a 92 525 with gray interior.  It is almost perfect inside and out -  
but the drivers side seat is cracking, not splitting, and the color is lost 
in those areas.  Is there any way to restore the color??  I have a 92 325 
with black leather and a 94 740 with tan.  Neither one of these have the same 
problem
