<e28> 535i questions

Hi all-
I am a little bit embarrassed to ask the following, BUT, my '85 535i
didn't come with an owner's manual. There are two switches for which I
cannot determine the function.
One is with the power window switches between the driver's side front
and rear switches. The other is to the right of the steering wheel and
down on the fibre board panel. It is a rectangular switch that looks
like a simple on and off switch. Anyone? Help?

Bill,
the swithc between the window switches on the console is most like toy to lock
out the rear window switches at the rear doors (ie. childproofing).  The switch
to the right and below the steering wheel is not a switch at all.  This is the
breaker for the power windows.  A much appreciated device which is far more
convenient than changing a fuse.

Question, what kind of gas milage are you getting with the chip?  I have noticed
that mine after sharking is getting almost 25mpg!  Amazing considering that the
way that I drive, my Civic Si barely gets 30mpg!
