To detect the gas odor,  fill your tank up to capacity.  Remove the back
seat out of the car and remove a panel that is underneath the
seat.  If you smeel or find the leak then the most probable cause is that
your daughter has ran over something and it has pushed up the gas tank.
This will cause a leak that can only be fixed by trying a new O-ring or
changing the gas tank out.
