New BMW 3.0 engine

I've seen references to the new inline six 3.0 engine two places now --
first, the BMWNA official web site now lists the official US output figures
for the 3.0 engine as used by the X5 3.0i: 225 hp at 5900 rpm and 214
ft-lb at 3500 rpm. Secondly, the BMW Austria web site highlights the
new Z3 3.0 model: 0-100 km/hr in 6.0 seconds (just 0.6 seconds behind
the 3.2 liter M Roadster per their figures).

I expect the advertising for the 330i, 530i and all the other variants will
appear soon.
