'91 318is broken seat

The left arm that holds the seat has a bracket on it. The bracket broke and
I'M not
sure how to take the assembly apart, or even off the seat to replace it. To
add to it
there is a small wheel with an arm on it that travels to the other side of
the seat
to help it recline....it looks to be spot welded. Does reclining arm come
out? Has
anyone else had to do this.
