Shift linkage on 320i 5-sp & short shift kit advice request.

I need advice/help with loose shift linkage. My 2002 has a '83 320i 5-Sp
tranny that is fairly loose stick-shift in gear. What in particular would
improve this shift linkage??? Bushing replacement only??? other support
bracketing???

Also, can anyone provide me with an inexpensive short-shift kit for this
same 2002 with 320i 5-SP tranny?
I've heard that there is a Z3 shift kit that amy be a good fit / match.
Any ideas?
