Valet mode

Has anyone ever figured a way to put their car into "valet" mode?  In my 
paranoid way, I'm concerned that when I leave my car at the body shop to get 
a small ding fixed, some dork will take it out and do donuts in the parking 
lot (or worse).  Michelin Pilots don't come cheap.

It seems that it would be easy to put a removeable restricting device in the 
intake path.  Perhaps an aluminum plate with holes in it in with the air 
cleaner.  Or, an aluminum plate with a smaller than normal hole in it right 
at the intake manifold.

If the intake were restricted enough to allow driveability, but limit 
horsepower, could that cause incorrect mixture and the resultant problems 
from preignition?

Perhaps there are ways of doing this electronically or some other way.  Any 
ideas?
