Re Radiator Repair/Plastic Tanks

For those less adventuresome folks who need to rely on the
plastic/aluminum cooling device keeping you moving down the road, a good
radiator shop can replace the plastic tank that has lost a neck.  An
installed top tank and gasket for a 524td was under $75.  Major radiator
parts suppliers do sell the plastic tanks for most all BMW models as
evidenced by my 524td.  Delivery was overnight on part.  So you really
don't have to start with a big stack of $$$ or a Dremel and JB Weld that
might work for how long until you are where?
