new bilsteins...incorrect front end higher ride?

Is it common for the front end to ride a little higher after a
installing 4 bilsteins on a 1991 318is. The rear looks normal but the
front it riding at least an inch higher than usual. I thought it would go
down
after a while, but to no avail.

Any suggestions?
