325iA Cabrio (E-30) year?

Hello,

A local, non-BMW, dealer has a 325iA Cabrio (E-30) on the lot with a date of 
manufacture of 9-91. Does that make it a 1991 or a 1992? The E-36s came out 
in 1992. Were the 30s and 36s made at the same time? What was the cutoff 
date? Anyone know? I hope I don't lose a bet here.
