Jack, don=B4t know when the E39 will be replaced but there is a "face-lift" in th= e works for spring/summer. Only minor stuff will be changed, e.g. the headlights look thinner and have the lower cutouts like the E46 or the revised E38. Most people seem to like the original styling better, though.
