Slight shimmy normal?

Don't know if this is okay to ask this question here, but hopefully
someone can help me.

My steering wheel wiggles back and forth maybe .25", probably less, on
my '92, 325i, mostly between 35-45 mph.

Just got new tires, tie rods, rotors, and an alignment.  I think the
guys doing the work are good, but does your steering wheel wobble a
little?  I don't recall it being so bad with the bad tie rod!  Am I just
unfamiliar with a properly running car?
