if it opens /closes, but does not tilt, , then, the switch [micro]]on
the moom roof motor]] may be at fault...will not allow it to go forward
beyond the closed position, to tilt up....

if the moon roof functions , properly, in the other modes , as you
mention...that would be my guess...
