325 Dash Crack = Dash Replacement?

Day before yesterday, I noticed a third crack in my dash. Each crack
goes right from the windshield to the front of my dash.  I know that the
E30's are famous for this.

I've got a  line on a scrapped 325 with a good dash.

Is it very hard to replace the dash?  Any idea in terms of
time/frustration level? Any point in doing this? I mean will it just
crack again in a little while?
