Recently, my little e30 has been occasionally stalling
when I release the accelerator. Generally, when I
release the accelerator, the rpms drop, go a little
below 500, the engine shudders a little and the rpms
recover to about 650-700. With the A/C on, the idle
RPM goes up a little and the engine is much less prone
to stalling on throttle release. I was suspecting the
idle control valve, but cant seem to find it on my
1.6lit (euro) model. Has anyone had a similar problem?
The idle rpm is fine once it gets past the inital rpm
drop and doesnt stall.
