Convertible window

Hello,

           The plastic rear window of my convertible top is showing some
signs of age and wear----some light scratches and also a slight abrasion
where the window folds over with the top down.    Is there any method of
maintaining this window  and also a brand new window if this window is
ever replaced  ?      A Bavarian Autosport telephone representative
mentioned something about using a wax with  "liquid polymers"  but didn't
mention a brand name.      Any opinions on any of this ?
