Re: <E36> Clutch issue.



There must be some kind of fault. My Holden company car is a rebadged Opel
from Germany. I was on a driveway SOOOO steep today that I actually got
smaoke from under the car (Clutch smoke NOT tyre smoke) trying to move up
it. Mine still works fine. The car has all those environmentally friendly
things in it too.

In a VW Beetle, the angle of the cable where it turns up the attach to the
release arm can make it shudder. Perhaps there is an adjustment or
modification needed to the slave cylinder or something.

??? Weird problem but very common it would seem.
