That's about right, my 83 weighs in at 2500 with
62' of welded in cage, w spare tire and jack and
no interior except a 18lb racing seat. The cage
added about 170 lbs. The 83 is the lightest e21
due to the tranny being smaller than earlyer ones,
but not much.
