Subject: E28 cold start problems

My '86 535i 151kmiles takes a long time to start in cold weather.
In 30 deg weather, it takes 10-15 secs cranking before the engine would
start.
With the single degree weather this week it takes 3 cranks (10 secs each
time) to start.
The idle is also rough until the engine warms up.>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Bernie - could be the temp sender for the OBC or the cold start valve is not
firing. You got a Bentley?
