Audio question

Hello all,

I have a 328is with the premium audio (h/k) package and am thinking
about adding a nav system to the car.  The nav display will replace
the head end that is in there now.  With the h/k upgrade I have speed
sensitive volume (go faster the volume goes up just enough to remain
constant and vice versa) which I dearly love.  Does anyone know if
this functionality part of the head end or of the amps?
