FW: Metal Masters

Time to replace my factory front brake pads.  I've had multiple vendors
suggest PBR Metal Masters.  What differences can I expect from these as
compared to factory original.  These are metallic pads...how will these
effect the rotors?  Car currently has @ 54K on it.
