hi all...
just curious, does anyone know the going rate for a 1987 535i w/ 122k
miles, fully loaded? i'm in the unfortunate position of having to sell my
car, and a dealer in college park offered me $1,200 for it. i was so
insulted! he then proceeded to tell me that i could possibly sell it for
$4000 in the paper, which means that it was probably appraised at $5 or $6
grand. if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. anyhow, i will
be unsubscribing from this list serve once i sell the car. i'm getting a
honda accord ex v6 2000. it's a great car, but it will never be able to
hold a candle to any beamer on the road. i wish you all well, and thanks
to those who have listed thier advice on here, it's been very useful.

Everyone remembers their first baseball glove. You remember the trip to
the store, the way the glove smelled, the way you broke it in, and the
way it hung from the handlebars of your bike. You remember chewing on
the laces absentmindedly during an interminable stint in right field,
and you remember how you sometimes had to use your glove as a base
because you couldn't find a frisbee or a piece of cardboard.
